Craig Cochrane acknowledges that he lives and works on the unceded territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation, and that he also works on the unceded, ancestral and traditional lands of the Shíshálh, and Tla'amin Nations. 


He is proud of his portfolio containing work produced here on these lands and hopes that you enjoy it as well.


He brings well over a decade of experience working with his camera for pay and several years experience working in a photo print lab in Gibsons where he currently works part-time.

Craig works with studio lighting, natural lighting, or a combination of both.  Depending on the job at hand.

Craig sends a special thank-you to the team at the Sunnycrest Mall in Gibsons, where he shoots special events portraits including photos with Santa Claus.

A Macro Collection

A place to rejuvenate in solitude is behind his macro lens.  Starting in 2018.  Craig has been creating this collection and sharing it through instagram as Up.The.River.   Macro photography gives Craig the opportunity to find solace and a connection with nature.  He takes these images in the garden, builds mini sets, or goes out on the trails that sprawl the Sunshine Coast of BC.

Above image title:  Rainbow Dust is a macro image created for the show Unity at the Seaside Centre in Sechelt.  Craig will be showing several pieces at the show and hopes you drop by to see his work in addition to the several other artists he is honoured to be showing with.
